| Born Into Brothels, the Academy Award winning film about children growing up
in the red-light district of Calcutta, India and their power to transform
their lives has been called "an emotionally exquisite, irresistibly moving
and visually elegant movie."
Composer John McDowell has created a colorful global tapestry of a
soundtrack with an all-star cast of musicians playing instruments from
around the world who infused this acoustic score with depth and soul.
McDowell is a man with experience working in spiritual settings, from gospel
to Sufi music. This goes a long way toward explaining the soundtrack's
overall inspirational tone.
Now the music can be heard live with composer John McDowell and a group of
virtuoso musicians. |
